A Message from Our Director

Hello!

After dedicating my career to public education from kindergarten through 12th grade and later focusing on students on the autism spectrum ages 3–21, I saw firsthand the critical need for continued support beyond the school years. My journey from classroom teacher to administration allowed me to develop transition programs, and my experiences as both vice principal and principal deepened my understanding of the gaps in services for adults with I/DD.

New Jersey has one of the highest autism populations in the country, yet our adult clients face limited options after aging out of school programs. This reality inspired the creation of Achieve Academy for Adults. Our center addresses the pressing need for quality programs that support continued growth, independence, and community integration for adults with I/DD.

Achieve Academy was founded with the conviction that our clients deserve opportunities that honor their potential throughout adulthood.

Together, we are building a community where adults with I/DD can thrive.
